MOTIR Construction was contracted to reinstall a defective multi-tiered roofing system and GSA’s first retro fit green roof within the DC area at the Federal Tax Court building. The project had many logistical challenges that were successfully handled. Challenges included maintaining operation abilities for the building’s occupants; working with the District of Columbia in the congested area of Judiciary Square; and the high rise factor. This $1.5 million dollar roofing system includes the latest in green roof technology, providing all the benefits of smart eco design.
