MOTIR Construction was contracted to replace windows for Langdon Elementary School, Whittier Elementary School, and Hart Middle School for the District of Columbia Public Schools. The scope of work required the replacement of windows, security screens, window a/c units and the restoration of surfaces impacted by construction. The removal and installation of windows was done in an active school setting requiring the coordination of work with school administration for relocating classrooms while the windows were replaced. Additionally, Motir Construction was responsible for the abatement of windows and ancillary areas that contained lead based paint. Our in-house environmental team performed this service.
