Our Social & Community Impact
MOTIR Not Only Cares About Its Clients, We Care Deeply About Our Community
MOTIR’s President & CEO, Emmanuel Irono has traveled all over the world and has created a company of diversity that gives back to US-based charitable organizations and feeds, educates and provides medical treatment for African children.
As a Nigerian immigrant from humble beginnings, MOTIR’s President & CEO, Emmanuel O. Irono, has never forgotten what it was like for many in his native country struggling in the face of abject poverty. As a young man, he vowed to find a way to help alleviate suffering of those around him, and he has remained true to his pledge.
From the beginning, MOTIR has been committed to investing in communities in need, donating a percentage of its annual net profits to urgent causes affecting disadvantaged and marginalized populations. Thanks to its non-profit arm, TIS Foundation, of which Emmanuel serves as chairman of the board, MOTIR is making a difference in high-poverty communities in the United States and West Africa. In 2019, TIS Foundation celebrated 25 years of service addressing critical issues in Africa including poverty, hunger, education, water sanitation and hygiene, HIV/AIDS and medical treatment. Through TIS Foundation, MOTIR is tackling many of the critical issues in high-poverty communities in the United States, particularly in Washington, DC. Their family and youth-centered initiatives are focused on filling gaps in critical community services necessary to move families from crisis to stability and growth, including community outreach, positive youth development initiatives, scholarships and workforce development programs.
MOTIR employees look forward to opportunities to support and volunteer at TIS Foundation’s annual community outreach events like the Annual Thanksgiving Turkey and Holiday Toy Drives, feeding and gifting children and families in the poorest neighborhoods in Washington, D.C.
